CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A North Side man took quite a chance late Wednesday night as a couple of men tried to take his car from him.
Police said a 35-year old man was taking some things out of his car in an alley in the 5100 block of North Glenwood in Uptown when two males came up to him and pulled out a gun. One of the males hit the victim in the head. The other jumped into the driver’s seat.
As the victim tried to pull the person out of his car, he was fighting off the other attacker who had the gun. That’s when a female showed up with a gun and began shooting at the car.
All three suspects ran off.
The victim refused medical treatment at the scene. No one is in custody.
