(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — As the Utah Jazz celebrates its 50th anniversary, owner Ryan Smith has changed the name of the Wi-Fi network inside the team’s arena to “JordanPushedOff.”
The name, as Bulls fans know, references the game-winning shot that Michael Jordan made in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals to defeat Utah for the second year in a row.
Despite the fact that the game took place 25 years ago, the Jazz's owner Ryan Smith hasn’t forgotten it.
The Finals victory completed the Bulls’ second three-peat and gave the organization its sixth NBA championship. Jordan was named Finals MVP for the sixth time.
And by the way, Jordan didn’t push off.
