WAUKEGAN (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Investigators are trying to determine what led to the death of a woman after she was found Thursday on the roof of a medical center in Waukegan.
The Lake County Coroner's Office said the 28-year-old woman had been admitted to Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan earlier this week for unspecified medical issues.
Investigators said the woman was found unresponsive on the roof of the hospital.
The Lake County Coroner’s Office said the woman was taken to the emergency room and treated for several hours before she was pronounced dead.
Waukegan Police and coroner's investigators said they'll release more information at a news conference early next week.
