CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Since the middle of March, businesses in Pulaski Park and Humboldt Park have been broken into repeatedly, including an Asian fusion restaurant called Mott Street, which has been hit four times.
Chicago police said they believe the same person robbed the Western Foods Grocery store two weeks ago and a sushi restaurant near North and Kedzie Avenues recently.
The burglar used a rock, brick, or crowbar to get inside, according to police.
Money, a cash register, a safe, and liquor have all been taken.
The suspect was reportedly wearing green gloves and a coat with fur around the hood.
CPD's investigation is still ongoing.
