Baseball is back, and White Sox chefs are ready to step up to the plate with a new menu and a season of new specials.
“This is my favorite time of the year,” said Ryan Craig, Executive Chef at Levy Restaurants, “We’re in the kitchen; we’re coming up with what we’re going to do for the year and we just have a lot of fun.”
The chefs have been experimenting with new dishes for the last few months, sampling different creations and ultimately deciding on the best of the best for the upcoming season.
“This stuff really stood out to us and this is what we want to feature this year. We got a variety of different cuisines and a lot of great new items,” said Chef Craig.

New items include an Elote Corn Dog, Belgian Banger, Gonzo Garbanzo Sandwich, Hatch Green Chili Mac, Helmet Tender & Fries and more. The new food items will be in addition to the classic hotdog, pizza and peanuts the Sox are famous for.
New drink items are also on the menu. The ballpark will feature more than 75 craft beers from 50 breweries. From the team who brought fans the Cinnamon Churro Milkshake comes the refreshing Mangonada.
“One of the best ones this year is the Mangonada, going to be served at the stadium club bar. Fresh mango sorbet, mangoes, and our house made chamoy,”Chef Craig said.
The White Sox return to Guaranteed Rate Field for their home opener vs. San Francisco on Monday, April 3. Fans are sure to leave hungry for more.
