CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A crash on DuSable Lake Shore Drive Drive early Sunday morning left one woman dead and three others hospitalized, Chicago police said.
Authorities said it was shortly before 2 a.m. when officers responded to the crash on DuSable Lake Shore Drive near Montrose Harbor.
Four people in a gray sedan were traveling northbound when they crashed into a light pole.
A 32-year-old woman suffered a head injury and was taken to the hospital, where she died.
The other three, including the driver, were all transported in good condition to the hospital.
An investigation into the crash remains ongoing by major accident detectives.
