CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A 71-year-old woman was fatally shot Sunday inside a home in Morgan Park on the South Side, and Chicago police are looking for the people responsible.
According to Chicago police, Emma Wright, 71, was in the residence at about 7:40 p.m. in the 10800 block of South Morgan Street, when two males who were outside fired shots at the home.
Wright was struck multiple times and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
Area Two detectives are trying to determine who was responsible for Wright's death. So far no arrests have been made.
