(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A weekend police chase that began in Villa Park and ended in Chicago has landed a Schaumburg woman behind bars.

Villa Park police responded to the parking of a hotel in the 300 block of East Roosevelt Road late Sunday night for reports of a domestic dispute.

Police said they found 32-year-old Victoria Nee behind the wheel of a van with a man in the passenger seat.

When officers tapped on the window of the van, prosecutors said Nee took off and eventually led police on a high-speed chase along eastbound Interstate 290. Officials said Nee reached speeds up to 120 mph.

Investigators said Nee’s van was disabled in Chicago. Both she and the passenger were arrested after they tried to flee on foot.

Several ID and credit cards — belonging to other people — were also recovered in the van, officials said.

Nee was charged with possessing a fake ID card and aggravated fleeing and eluding a police officer.

On Tuesday, the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office announced that bond was set for Nee at $25,000.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for March 20.
