CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A woman out walking her dog was shot early Tuesday morning on Chicago's North Side.
Chicago police said the 21-year-old was walking her dog at around 12:38 a.m. near Sunnyside and Beacon in the Sheridan Park neighborhood when she was shot.
The victim told police the gunfire came from someone in a silver-colored SUV. She was taken to the hospital with bullet wounds to her left leg initially in fair condition.
No one is in custody.
