(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Indiana conservation officers are assisting local law enforcement after a vehicle with a dead person inside was found in a Merrillville lake Sunday.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to Big Maple Lake for a vehicle partially submerged in the water about 7:45 a.m. and found the body of a woman inside.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending family notification.
