Caitlyn Jenner hired by Fox News as contributor: Her 'story is an inspiration to us all'

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Caitlyn Jenner has a new gig: Fox News has hired her as a contributor to provide commentary across all of Fox's programmming and platforms.

Jenner, a former Olympic gold medalist and Kris Jenner's ex-spouse, will make her first appearance in her new capacity on Thursday on "Hannity."

The 72-year-old trans activist has appeared on Fox News before, discussing a variety of topics, including her California gubernatorial campaign and swimmer Lia Thomas.

"Caitlyn’s story is an inspiration to us all,” Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott said in announcing the hire. "She is a trailblazer in the LGBTQ+ community and her illustrious career spans a variety of fields that will be a tremendous asset for our audience.”

Jenner said in a statement, "I am humbled by this unique opportunity to speak directly to FOX News Media’s millions of viewers about a range of issues that are important to the American people."
