Former Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) seemed to take a shot at superstar Taylor Swift over the weekend for her possible support of President Joe Biden.
Santos took to X to share his thoughts on the potential endorsement, saying that it would make sense for her to support Biden since her songs are about “choosing the wrong guy.”
“I see @taylorswift13 endorsing @JoeBiden for president,” Santos said on Saturday. “I mean I see how this makes sense since 95% of her songs are about choosing the wrong guy. I guess we can all expect a Taylor Swift revenge song on Biden in 2025…”
Santos’ comments come as some expect Swift to endorse Biden’s reelection bid, being that she supported him in 2020.
Swift has also been the subject of several conspiracy theories, some of which said that she would endorse Biden after her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, won the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs. The conspiracy theory said the NFL was rigged so she could make the endorsement, but it never came and still hasn’t.
Earlier this month, Swift urged her fans to vote on Super Tuesday via a post on her Instagram story, saying, “wanted to remind you guys to vote the people who most represent YOU into power.”
Still, despite not supporting either President Biden or former President Donald Trump, Swift remains at the center of several conservative conspiracies.
