SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – Are you feeling a little warm? No? Just us?

Well maybe we aren’t the only ones. For example, a study published Thursday by the Institute for Public Policy Research found that we might be headed for a “doom loop” of climate change consequences.

This week on It’s Generational, we brought together our panel of multi-generational guests to discuss climate change – what they think about it, how they deal with it and whether there is any hope.

“There’s something very beautiful about the tradition of taking care of the earth that is now finding a new life and a new voice,” said our Gen Z panelist, playwright and reporter Gloria Oladipo.

“The hippie movement was all about, you know, spreading love and connection and caring for the land,” said Matthew Ballew, a research specialist at the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication, who joined the show to explain how attitudes about climate change have evolved.

In addition to Oladipo, our panelists include: Susan Messing, a young baby boomer, improv comedian and teacher; Gen X news anchor Steve Chiotakis and KCBS Radio’s own millennial multimedia producer Mallory Somera.
