A Nevada man is facing federal charges for threatening a state election worker last year and telling her that she was "going to f--king die" for "stealing the election" from President Donald Trump.

Gjergi Luke Juncaj, 50, of Las Vegas was arrested Wednesday by the FBI and charged with four counts of making threatening phone calls.

According to court documents, on Jan. 7, 2021 -- the day after the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol -- Juncaj allegedly made four threatening phone calls to an employee in the Elections Division of the Nevada Secretary of State's Office.

"I want to thank you for such a great job you all did on stealing the election. I hope you all go to jail for treason. I hope your children get molested. You are all going to f--king die," Juncaj said in a raised voice, according to the Justice Department.

Authorities said Juncaj called back three times in less than 20 minutes and repeated the threats, adding "You guys really f--ked this election up," and "You are all going to f--cking die and it is what you deserve," according to the indictment.

Juncaj made an appearance in federal court on Thursday, pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released on a personal recognizance bond, CNN reported. If convicted as charged, he faces a maximum sentence of two years in prison on each count.

This is the second case resulting in charges following investigations by the Justice Department's Election Threats Task Force, which was announced in June 2021. The task force was formed to "address threats of violence against election workers, and to ensure that all election workers — whether elected, appointed or volunteer — are able to do their jobs free from threats and intimidation."

Last week, a Texas man was charged with making threats against election workers in Georgia. Chad Christopher Stark is accused of posting a message on Craigslist on Jan. 5, 2021, offering $10,000 in exchange for the deaths of at least three election officials in the state of Georgia, according to court documents.
