A man was caught trying to sneak 17 bullets past security at New York’s LaGuardia Airport on Wednesday morning. The passenger concealed the bullets inside of a disposable baby diaper, according to the TSA.

The TSA shared that the man’s carry-on bag was flagged after officers noticed the bullets while it was going through the X-ray machine.

When they pulled it out, they found the loaded diaper, which the passenger quickly offered up an array of explanations for, including that he didn’t know how it got there and that his girlfriend did it, the TSA shared.

The man was headed to Chicago’s Midway Airport and was identified as being from Arkansas. Port Authority Police also cited him for unlawful possession of the 9mm ammunition.

“Apparently, this guy needs a bullet-proof plan for packing his carry-on bag before heading to the airport for his next flight,” the TSA shared in a statement.
