Oscar Meyer has announced it is currently hiring drivers for its storied Weinermobiles, looking for people who are willing to traverse the nation in one of its six 27-foot-long hot dog-shaped vehicles.
According to the job listing, the company says its ideal candidate is “outgoing, creative, friendly, exuberant, college graduate who has an appetite for adventure and is willing to see the country through the windshield of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile for one year.”
Oscar Meyer will hire 12 Weinermobile drivers at a salary of $35,600 a year plus a weekly $150 allowance for meals and free hotel rooms. The job also offers a complete health benefits package and 18 days paid time off.
The selected hires will be required to travel to more than 1,200 events in 40 cities.
