(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — As the temperatures heat up, Chicago outdoor festivals and events continue. WBBM Newsradio's Rachel Pierson has the roundup for this weekend:

—No one celebrates Pride better than Northalsted. The Chicago Pride Fest offers two days of music, drag and LGBTQ-friendly events. The annual street fest leads up to Chicago's world famous Pride Parade next weekend.

—Set sail at Navy Pier for what can only be described as the Formula 1 of sailboat racing. SailGP sends nine national teams through a high-adrenaline racecourse on Lake Michigan. These flying sailboats are capable of speeds up to 60 miles per hour.

—Walk into Prince: The Immersive Experience and you'll be transformed into a purple-hued world of the legendary musician. The 24,000-square-foot space on Michigan Avenue features 10 interactive rooms filled with music, album covers and a recreation of Studio A from Paisley Park.

—Celebrate African-American culture during the Juneteenth Village Fest on the West Side. Hosted at Douglass Park by It Takes a Village Family of Schools, Saturday's event is jam-packed with food, music and family fun.

It's Father's Day weekend, and there are plenty of ways to celebrate Dad:
—Grab your fishing poles and head to Northside Park in Wheaton for the annual Fish-O-Rama Saturday morning. Kids ages 15 and under are eligible to win prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for most and largest fish.

—Cruise on over to downtown Lombard and check out classic cars and live music. The free summer cruise nights kick off this Saturday and run through the end of August.

—Bring dad to the dugout as the Kane County Cougars take on the Sioux Falls Canaries at Northwestern Medicine Field or see the Schaumburg Boomers play the Washington Wild Things at Wintrust Field. Both games take place Sunday afternoon.
