60 Minutes is on top again.
The CBS News program remains the #1 non-sports primetime program in total viewers and adults 18+ for the eighth consecutive week.
The broadcast delivered 10.7 million viewers, which was up 41% from the same night last year, with 10.4 million in adults 18+ and 2.5 million in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Nov. 6.
Sunday's broadcast featured Bill Whitaker's report on social media and political polarization in America; Anderson Cooper's story on the migrant situation in New York City; and Jon Wertheim's look at preppers.
"60 Minutes has been America's #1 news program for eight straight weeks and has finished in the top 10 every week this season," Paramount, CBS News' parent company, said in a statement.
60 Minutes was the week's #8 primetime program in viewers, #7 in adults 18+ and #9 in adults 25-54. The show's potential social impressions (252 million) were also up 52% from the prior week, Paramount noted.
