For those among us keeping score, the U.S. intervention in the Iran-Israel conflict looks like this: three bunker-busting bombs unleashed, one ceasefire announced, one ceasefire immediately violated and one presidential lashing.

That's right, after President Donald Trump announced Israel and Iran had agreed to a ceasefire, bombs were dropped, and Trump responded by writing on social that neither one of the Middle East countries "know what the F they're doing."

The president followed up his blistering tirade at 7:30 this morning with a post that says the ceasefire is back on, writing, "“ISRAEL is not going to attack Iran. All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly ‘Plane Wave’ to Iran.

“Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect!” he said, with his now-trademark sign-off: “Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

Before this post, in trademark Trump fashion, he laid out the situation following the ceasefire exactly as he saw it, telling reporters he had to “get Israel to calm down” because both sides had been fighting for so long they "didn't know what the F they were doing."

“Israel, as soon as we made the deal, they came out and dropped a boatload of bombs the likes of which I’ve never seen before. The biggest load that we’ve seen, I’m not happy with Israel,” Trump said.

“OK, when I say now you have 12 hours, you don’t go out in the first hour and just drop everything you have on them. So, I’m not happy with him. I’m not happy with Iran either,” the president added.

Following it all up, Trump said on Tuesday morning a ceasefire between Iran and Israel is officially in effect. The AP reported Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said he held off on tougher strike against Iran after speaking to Trump.

The AP added: "Netanyahu said Israel agreed to a bilateral ceasefire with Iran, in coordination with Trump, after the country achieved all of its war goals, including removing the threat of Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs."
