A 23-year-old woman who bit off the ear of an 18-year-old woman at a July 4 party has been arrested – along with the woman she bit – according to a July 27 press release from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.
Their altercation happened just after the stroke of midnight at what sounds like a wild party thrown by “unsupervised minors.”
According to the most recent data from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, 3.2 million people ages 12 to 20, or 8.3% of that age group, reported binge drinking in the past month before they were surveyed.
Authorities said a physical altercation that involved several men occurred at the party, held at 6530 Olokee Street in Callaway, Fla. Macy Regan, 23, attempted to leave the party and walk to her home, also located on the street.

However, Regan was confronted by Dixie Stiles, 18, who accused her of stealing alcohol and vape pens. Regan responded by pulling out a 9 mm handgun from her waistband. Stiles managed to shove the firearm away and “a physical altercation followed” according to the sheriff’s office.
During this altercation, Regan bit off the top of Stiles ear, and doctors were not able to re-attach it. In mugshot photos, Stiles is pictured with bandages on her head.
“Multiple bruises and lacerations,” were also sustained as a result of the fight, authorities said.
Stiles was charged with battery, touch or strike and Regan was charged with with felony battery, causing bodily harm. Police said July 27 that the investigation was ongoing.
