A survey by Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago reveals that only 42% of Illinois parents always apply sunscreen when their child goes outdoors in the summer and 11% of parents never do.
Dr. Anthony Mancini at Lurie's Hospital says parents applying sunscreen on their children before they go outdoors in summer should be as routine as having kids brush their teeth.
