The team of scientists at Northwestern University have discovered evidence of a powerful wind blowing from the Milky Way’s central massive black hole called Sagittarius A.
Northwestern’s Mark Gorski, who co-led the study, says new observations allowed their scientists to see the wind's imprint for the first time.
He says astrophysicists everywhere have been trying to find evidence of this black hole theory for 50 years.
