CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- It's back! The "Shred Your Ex" promotion returns this Valentine's Day at Hooters.
They say revenge may be a dish best served cold, but who said hot wings can't help you get over a heartbreak.
"Shred 'em and forget 'em. Obliterate your ex's photo and live happily ever after," Hooters writes on their website.
Guests have the choice of going into Hooters and shredding the photo or going online to their special shredding website, where you can virtually shred your ex. Either way, once the photo is shredded, just buy 10 wings and receive 10 boneless wings for free.
"Hooters is inviting both heartbreakers and the heartbroken to enjoy some comfort food this Valentine's Day by burning, burying, ripping or shredding a picture of their ex to earn 10 free boneless wings with the purchase of 10 wings," the company said in a statement.
The deal is only valid on Valentine's Day and is only available for dine in.
So whether or not you're feeling the love for someone special this year, chicken wings are always a delicious option to fill your heart...or a least your stomach.
