David Haugh (6-7): Bears 19, Browns 17
In the Dawg Pound, expect the Bears defense to bear its teeth. That will be the difference in a low-scoring, physical, throwback football game. The Browns have lost the battle of attrition, and the Bears will exploit all the injuries on the offensive line. Offensively, Justin Fields has protected the ball well enough lately to think he can handle a fierce Cleveland pass rush. And good running games and tough defenses travel well.
Danny Parkins (6-7): Bears 24, Browns 10
The Bears win, and their season stays interesting. The Browns are too banged up, and their defense is overrated.
Matt Spiegel (10-3): Bears 27, Browns 21
The Bears earn another upset win, and the Matt Eberflus train gains steam. The "keep Justin Fields" case remains … confusing.
Chris Tannehill (8-5): Bears 31, Browns 24
This is a huge road test for Justin Fields as he returns to the site of his first NFL start. I think he'll look like a very different quarterback Sunday against a banged-up Cleveland defense. Top-tier quarterbacks win games in tough road environments and show everyone why they're the best player on the field. One game doesn't define a career, but if I'm Ryan Poles, Fields playing well Sunday would go a long way.
Adam Studzinski (7-6): Bears 19, Browns 16
Similar to Josh Dobbs a few weeks ago against the Bears on Monday Night Football, I think Joe Flacco is due for a backslide. A suddenly good Bears defense should keep the Browns in check while the Chicago offense does enough to squeak out a win.
Chris Emma (9-4): Bears 24, Browns 19
I’m buying into the Bears’ turnaround, and this victory would certainly lend great credence to their hopes moving forward. The Browns are tough, but they’re beatable. Justin Fields will get revenge in coming back to Cleveland and earning a win.
Evan Thomas (9-4): Browns 28, Bears 24
The Browns are first in the NFL in total defense. It’s crazy how five weeks ago, Matt Eberflus was being run out of town and now those same are saying he's a good coach? The week-to-week NFL madness is in full effect. I've got the Browns winning this one.
Kevin Lapka (7-6): Bears 24, Browns 16
There have been 55 different starting quarterbacks in the NFL this season. It feels like a majority of the backup quarterbacks who have started have had a few games of magic before opposing defenses have ample tape to learn from in formulating a game plan. Then, after a couple of weeks, that backup quarterback falls off a cliff. The same will happen with Joe Flacco against the Bears in his third start of the season. Losing both starting tackles to injury and facing a Bears defense that's been top five in the NFL since the addition of Montez Sweat is a recipe for disaster for Flacco and the Browns offense. Teams have moved the ball well against the Browns defense as of late. The Chicago offense will be efficient, but not spectacular, and the defense will stifle Cleveland's offense en route to an impressive Bears road win that keeps them alive in the NFC wild-card race.
