(670 The Score) On the day the Bears reported to training camp, they made a move with an eye toward addressing one of their big question marks.
The Bears have signed veteran offensive tackle Riley Reiff, general manager Ryan Poles said Tuesday morning. The one-year contract could be worth up to $12.5 million, with $10 million likely to be earned, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported.
Reiff, 33, in a 10-year NFL veteran who played for the Bengals in 2021. He started 12 games at right tackle before suffering a season-ending ankle injury in December. Reiff has played in 147 games and started 139 in his NFL career.
In Chicago, Reiff will join a tackle mix that includes second-year pro Teven Jenkins, second-year pro Larry Borom and rookie Braxton Jones.
