LAKE FOREST, Ill. (670 The Score) -- The Bears are dealing with a rash of injuries for the first time in training camp.
Bears pass rusher DeMarcus Walker and linebacker Jack Sanborn each left practice Tuesday with apparent injuries, while right guard Nate Davis, running back Roschon Johnson, fullback Khari Blasingame and tight end Chase Allen were not present for practice.
Coach Matt Eberflus declined to comment on any of the absent players, citing his policy on not reporting injuries during the preseason.
Walker, 28, signed a three-year, $21-million deal with the Bears this offseason. He had a career-high seven sacks last season with the Titans. Sanborn, 23, had 50 tackles over 14 games (six starts) as a rookie last season. Davis, 26, is a four-year NFL veteran who made 54 starts with the Titans. He is projected to start at right guard for the Bears.
The Bears held their first practice in full pads on Tuesday, this after a week-long acclimation period focused on long-term player health.
The Bears are back on the practice field on Wednesday morning at Halas Hall.
