(670 The Score) Bears left tackle Braxton Jones, left guard Teven Jenkins and cornerback Jaylon Johnson are all questionable to play in Chicago’s game against Detroit on Sunday.
Jones continues to recover from a concussion, which caused him to miss the Bears’ loss to the Vikings on Monday. For the second straight day, he was a full participant in practice Friday. Jones' absence Monday was a big blow to the Bears, as rookie left tackle Kiran Amegadjie struggled in his first NFL start.
Jenkins is dealing with a calf injury. He was a limited participant Friday after sitting out work Wednesday and Thursday.
Johnson is dealing with an illness and was a new addition to the injury report Friday, when he didn’t participate in practice. He hasn’t missed a game this season.
Bears defensive lineman Gervon Dexter Sr. (knee) is also questionable. Bears running back Travis Homer (hamstring) is doubtful to play, while offensive lineman Ryan Bates (concussion) has been ruled out.
In better news, running back Roschon Johnson doesn’t carry an injury designation after missing the past two games with a concussion. He has been a full participant in practice all week. Edge rusher Darrell Taylor also doesn’t carry an injury designation any longer after dealing with a shoulder ailment.
The Bears (4-10) and Lions (12-2) will kick off at noon CT on Sunday at Soldier Field. Chicago is riding an eight-game losing streak.
