Bears CB Jaylon Johnson (groin/calf) listed as limited

(670 The Score) Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson (groin/calf) was officially listed as limited on the team's first injury report Thursday.

Johnson's status for the season opener Monday night remains unclear as he continues to work back from this injury, which was suffered while training in July. Johnson returned to the practice field Tuesday, marking his first time back out on the field.

“This week will be important to me getting the pads back on," Johnson said.

The Bears were off on Thursday, so their practice statuses were an estimation of a full practice.

Bears linebacker T.J. Edwards (hamstring), running back Roschon Johnson (foot) and cornerback Josh Blackwell (groin) were listed as not practicing. Rookie running back Kyle Monangai (hamstring) was limited.

The Bears and Vikings kick off the season Monday night at 7:15 p.m. CT from Soldier Field.
