(670 The Score) Hoping to bounce back with a win Sunday against the Cardinals, the Bears have several key injury concerns as they prepare to travel to Arizona.
The Bears on Friday ruled out left tackle Braxton Jones (knee), safety Jaquan Brisker (concussion) and rookie offensive tackle Kiran Amegadjie (calf) for the game Sunday. Star pass rusher Montez Sweat (shin), offensive lineman Ryan Bates (shoulder), nickel cornerback Kyler Gordon (hamstring), left guard Teven Jenkins (knee) and offensive tackle Larry Borom (ankle) are questionable.
The Bears will likely turn to Borom at left tackle if he's cleared to be activated from injured reserve, while Bates could start at left guard if needed in place of Jenkins. Both Borom and Bates must be activated from injured reserve by Saturday.
Sweat, who has 3.5 sacks this season, didn't practice Friday after being a limited participant Thursday. Meanwhile, Gordon practiced in a limited fashion for the first time in more than two weeks.
Brisker has been in the concussion protocol since a violent collision in a game on Oct. 6. It's his third known concussion in the NFL.
Kickoff between the Bears (4-3) and Cardinals (4-4) comes at 3:05 p.m. CT on Sunday from State Farm Stadium in Arizona.
