(670 The Score) The Bears have ruled out nose tackle Eddie Goldman for their season opener at the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night, the team announced Saturday.
Goldman suffered a knee injury during practice Monday, coach Matt Nagy previously said. Goldman didn't practice for the remainder of the week. In other moves Saturday, the Bears elevated linebacker Josh Woods and defensive lineman Damion Square from the practice squad.
Goldman, who opted out of last season, also dealt with back issues during training camp.
The Bears and Rams kick off at 7:20 p.m. CT Sunday from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
