(670 The Score) The Bears have signed veteran offensive lineman Dakota Dozier to a one-year deal.
Dozier, 30, has played in 76 games and started 27 over seven NFL seasons with the Jets (2015-'18) and Vikings (2019-'21). He started a full 16-game season at left guard for Minnesota in 2020.
It's unclear whether the Bears signed Dozier with the intent of him starting on the offensive line or serving as a reserve. Chicago signed veteran center Lucas Patrick to a two-year deal last week.
The Bears have an opening at right guard after James Daniels (Steelers) and Alex Bars (Raiders) each departed in free agency.
