LAKE FOREST, Ill. (670 The Score) — The Bears have ruled out linebacker T.J. Edwards against the Vikings on Sunday.
He's still recovering from a hamstring injury and recently had surgery to repair a hand fracture. The Bears didn't place Edwards on injured reserve last week, an indication that he's expected to return soon.
The Bears listed star cornerback Jaylon Johnson as questionable to play. The designation came just after the Bears opened the 21-day window for Johnson to return to practice.
Johnson has been sidelined since Sept. 14, when he suffered a groin injury in Chicago's loss at Detroit. He underwent core muscle surgery after that. Johnson returned to practice Friday for the first time since his surgery. While he was listed as questionable, it would be an uphill climb for Johnson to play Sunday.
The Bears also listed safety Jaquan Brisker (back) as questionable to play. He returned to practice Friday as a limited participant after missing practice the previous two days. Brisker finished the Bears' win against the Giants last Sunday despite suffering the injury.
The Bears ruled out receiver Jahdae Walker (concussion) for Sunday.
The Bears (6-3) and Vikings (4-5) will kick off at noon CT on Sunday from Minneapolis.
