Source: Bears to acquire offensive lineman Jonah Jackson from the Rams in exchange for a 6th-round pick

(670 The Score) The Bears have made a trade to help address their need on the offensive line.

The Bears have agreed to acquire veteran guard Jonah Jackson from the Rams in exchange for a sixth-round pick, a source confirmed Tuesday. ESPN first reported the news.

Jackson, 28, has made 61 starts in his five-year NFL career. He played for the Lions from 2020-'23, during which time Detroit employed new Chicago head coach Ben Johnson.

Jackson is owed $17.5 million in 2025, and the Bears will take on his full salary, according to reports.

Jackson has played both guard positions and center in his NFL career. He earned Pro Bowl recognition with the Lions in 2021.

The Bears' trade for Jackson can't become official until the NFL's new league year begins on March 12. The sixth-round pick the Bears will send the Rams originally came from the Steelers as part of Chicago's trade of quarterback Justin Fields to Pittsburgh in 2024.
