Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco is active, will start against Bears

CINCINNATI (670 The Score) Bengals veteran quarterback Joe Flacco will give it a go against the Bears on Sunday.

Flacco has been battling an AC joint injury in his right throwing shoulder but is active. He didn't practice Friday but plans to play through it. The Bengals have Jake Browning as their backup quarterback.

Flacco, 40, has made three starts for the Bengals since being traded from the Cleveland Browns. He has thrown for 781 yards and seven touchdowns in that stretch.

The Bears' inactives are running back D'Andre Swift (groin), receiver Luther Burden III (concussion), running back Roschon Johnson (back), defensive end Dominique Robinson (ankle), linebacker Ruben Hyppolite II and quarterback Case Keenum.

The Bears (4-3) and Bengals (3-4) will kick off at noon CT from Paycor Stadium.
