(Audacy) Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers certainly isn't a liked man in the Windy City. He has been known to troll Bears fans and has had the franchise's number for years.
On the Wednesday edition of "The Pat McAfee Show," Hall of Fame linebacker and Bears legend Brian Urlacher made an appearance and took the chance to reflect on why it was so difficult going up against Rodgers.
McAfee asked Urlacher who was the one quarterback he remembers the most during his playing days, and he immediately replied it was Rogers, sharing a NSFW response for how frustrated Rogers made him for always beating the Bears.
"We couldn't beat those f---ers," Urlacher said of Rodgers "We beat them like one time in 2010. You can put whatever receivers you want there, I don't care who he is, he'll make them better."
Discussing what the traits are that separate Rodgers from the rest of the bunch, the four-time All-Pro Urlacher told McAfee that it's his strong arm and ability to know what the defense is going to do before the ball is even snapped.
"Got a great arm, very accurate, smart," Urlacher said. "It's like Tom (Brady) and Peyton (Manning), they know all know exactly what you're doing before the ball is even snapped. There's no key to that, they all know what's going on. He threw four picks last year, how do you do that in 16-17 games?"
A recent stat on Twitter from NFL on CBS shows that Urlacher isn't just tooting Rodgers' horn.
"It's amazing how good of a position he puts his team in because he doesn't turn the ball over," Urlacher continued. "The guy is unbelievable at putting the ball on the money ... You're just not gonna fool him."
Rodgers has been dominating the Bears ever since 2008. And after he signed a contract extension with Green Bay this offseason, Chicago fans should expect Rodgers to keep his foot on the gas.
