(670 The Score) Bears top cornerback Jaylon Johnson is quite happy to have rookie safety Jaquan Brisker roaming the secondary with him.

Brisker made a highlight-reel one-handed interception, the first pick of his NFL career, in the second quarter of the Bears’ 33-14 win against the Patriots on Monday night, and it left his teammates as mesmerized – but not necessarily surprised – as it did fans.

“It was really good,” Johnson said on the Parkins & Spiegel Show on Tuesday afternoon. “It was a great catch. He jumped up high, got it with one hand. It looked like a rebound, really. It was a heckuva play by him, good read. It was shocking – not even shocking, but it was exciting for everybody to see him make a play like that, especially his first interception.”

With the help of Johnson and Brisker, the Bears rank seventh in the NFL in scoring defense and 12th in total defense. Chicago (3-4) visits Dallas (5-2) on Sunday afternoon.
