(670 The Score) As the Bears returned to their locker room following their 19-10 win against the 49ers on Sunday at Soldier Field, third-year cornerback Jaylon Johnson wondered where the music and lights were.

Johnson was looking for Club Dub, the Bears’ victory celebration that was implemented by former coach Matt Nagy.

“I thought that was a Bears organization thing,” Johnson said on his first regular appearance with the Parkins & Spiegel Show on Monday. “I didn’t know that was something that the old staff did. But I’m definitely going to try to work something out to get Club Dub back because we didn’t have the music, we didn’t have the juice, we didn’t cut the lights off with strobe lights. We got to bring all that back.

“I was talking about Club Dub, telling everyone, ‘21 and older,’ I go in there and they’re collecting the uniforms and the shoulder pads. There wasn’t any music. Lights were still on. I was a little lost. I thought everybody had Club Dub. I will definitely go back and talk to coach Matt (Eberflus) and the leadership team and tell them we need some Club Dub back in there, for sure.

“We got to bring the juice. They shut the club down.”

Nagy introduced the Club Dub concept in 2018 as a way to build camaraderie and celebrate victories, an idea he borrowed from former Cubs manager Joe Maddon.
