(670 The Score) Long snapper Patrick Scales and the Bears have agreed to terms on a new deal, the Athletic reported Friday afternoon.
Scales, 35, has been with the Bears since 2015 and is the team’s longest-tenured player. He has played 105 games for Chicago.
The Bears also agreed to a deal with fullback Khari Blasingame on Wednesday. Teams are permitted to sign their own free agents-to-be at any time.
Deals with unrestricted free agents can be struck beginning Monday at 11 a.m. CT and can be officially signed starting Wednesday at 3 p.m., when the new league year starts.
