(670 The Score) The Saints have remained mum on whether star running back Alvin Kamara will be activated from the COVID-19 reserve list ahead of their game against the Bears on Sunday in the wild-card round, but Karama isn't so silent.

Kamara indicated in a tweet Thursday evening that he'll play against the Bears, which would require him to be activated from the COVID-19 reserve list by the deadline Saturday at 3 p.m. CT.

"See y'all Sunday," Kamara tweeted.

Kamara missed the Saints' regular-season finale last Sunday after testing positive for COVID-19 leading up to that game. It put his availability for wild-card weekend in question, with the scheduling of the Saints' opening game determining whether he'd have the chance to play. Had the Saints opened the playoffs Saturday, Karama wouldn't have been eligible to return from the NFL's virus protocols. Given that the game was set for Sunday, Kamara was given an extra day to be cleared from the protocols, which require a 10-day absence since an initial positive test.

Kamara last played in a win against the Vikings on Christmas Day, when he tied an NFL record with six rushing touchdowns. During the Saints' win against the Bears at Soldier Field on Nov. 1, Kamara rushed 12 times for 67 yards while adding nine receptions for 96 yards.

The Saints haven't committed to a potential return of star receiver Michael Thomas, who was placed on injured reserve in December due to a nagging ankle injury. New Orleans has until Saturday at 3 p.m. CT to also activate Thomas.

Kickoff between the Bears (8-8) and Saints (12-4) is scheduled for 3:40 p.m. CT Sunday from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
