(104.3 The Score) Blackhawks star Connor Bedard underwent surgery to repair a left shoulder injury, the team announced Wednesday. He is facing a four-month recovery.
Bedard suffered an injury while training last week in Canada. He missed 12 games last year with what the Blackhawks referred to as an upper-body injury.
Bedard, who turns 21 later this month, had 30 goals and 45 assists for a team-leading 75 points last season.
Bedard is eligible for a contract extension and the Blackhawks have expressed their interest in signing him long-term.
