(670 The Score) The Blackhawks continued their teardown Thursday evening.

Chicago traded 21-year-old center Kirby Dach to the Montreal Canadiens to acquire the No. 13 overall pick in the first round and the No. 66 overall pick in the third round of the NHL Draft. It was a three-team deal that also involved the New York Islanders.
Chicago had selected Dach at No. 3 overall in 2019, and he was one of the team’s most promising young players. Dach had 26 points (nine goals, 17 assists) in 70 games last season.
Earlier Thursday, the Blackhawks traded 24-year-old star forward Alex DeBrincat to the Senators for the No. 7 overall pick in the first round, a second-round pick and a 2024 third-round pick.
