The additions of Stanley Johnson and Alize Johnson had been reported by various outlets Monday. They figure to have the inside tracks to the 14th and 15th roster spots, but their deals are non-guaranteed, ESPN reported, meaning they’ll have competition for their jobs when training camp opens in late September, including from Cook, Thomas and Thompson.

The Bulls also have one two-way roster spot to fill still.

The 6-foot-6 Stanley Johnson, 25, was the No. 8 overall pick of the Pistons in 2015. He has averaged 6.2 points per game over six NBA seasons. Johnson played for the Raptors last season, averaging 4.4 points over 16.1 minutes in 61 games, including 13 starts.

The 6-foot-7 Alize Johnson, 25, was a second-round pick of the Pacers in 2018. He appeared in a combined 31 games for Indiana across his first two NBA seasons before playing for Brooklyn last season, when he averaged 5.2 points and 5.0 rebounds in 10.5 minutes in 18 games.

The 6-foot-8 Cook, 23, has split time between the Cavaliers, Nuggets, Nets and Pistons in his two-year NBA career, averaging 4.0 points and 2.4 rebounds in 45 games.

The 6-foot-4 Thomas, 27, has played for the Raptors and Jazz in his two-year NBA career. He was undrafted in 2019. He has averaged 4.0 points while shooting 41.3% from 3-point range in 86 career games.

The 6-foot-5 Thompson, 22, went undrafted out of Oregon State this summer. He played for the Bulls in Summer League, averaging 8.6 points and 3.2 rebounds in five games. He averaged 13.5 points in his four years at Oregon State.
