(670 The Score) Former Bulls forward Chandler Hutchison really seems to be relishing making the playoffs with his new Wizards team while his old organization watches from home.

After the Wizards blew out the Pacers in the play-in round Thursday to secure the No. 8 seed in the East, Hutchison posted to TikTok, commenting, “When you get traded and help your new team to the playoffs.” He included the laughing-crying emoji.

The Bulls traded Hutchison to the Wizards in late March in a deal that also included wing Troy Brown Jr. coming back to Chicago.

Hutchison, 25, played in only seven games for the Bulls this past season before being dealt. That included none after Feb. 5 as he mysteriously sat out with what the team called a personal issue. Hutchison remained with the team on the bench during games but just didn’t play. Coach Billy Donovan and the Bulls wouldn’t specify what exactly the reason was for why Hutchison was out, and Hutchison hasn’t told his side of the story since being traded to the Wizards, indicating that’s for another day.

Hutchison averaged 5.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in 18 regular-season games for the Wizards. He had six points in 20 minutes for Washington in its win Thursday. The Bulls selected Hutchison at No. 22 overall in the first round of the 2018 NBA Draft.
