(670 The Score) The Bulls are acquiring two draft picks and forward Derrick Jones Jr. in a three-way sign-and-trade deal with the Cavaliers and Trail Blazers centered on power forward Lauri Markkanen, ESPN reported Friday.
The Bulls will obtain the Trail Blazers' lottery-protected first-round pick in 2022 and a second-round pick in 2023 in the deal. The first-round pick is protected 1-14 through 2028, when it would become a second-round pick if not yet conveyed, ESPN reported. Markkanen will be acquired by Cleveland and sign a four-year, $67-million deal with the team, ESPN reported. Portland landed forward Larry Nance Jr. in the deal.

The No. 7 overall pick of the Bulls in 2017, Markkanen averaged 15.6 points over 226 career games in Chicago. A restricted free agent this offseason, the Bulls had been shopping Markkanen for potential trades after revamping their roster by adding guard Lonzo Ball and wing DeMar DeRozan.
