(104.3 The Score) The Bears on Monday made another key investment into their defense, adding linebacker Devin Bush on a three-year deal worth up to $30 million, according to a source. The deal includes $21 million guaranteed.
Bush, 27, is coming off a career season while playing for the Browns in 2025. He logged 125 total tackles, two sacks and three interceptions, including a pair returned for a touchdown.
A first-round pick of the Steelers in 2019, Bush played his first four seasons in Pittsburgh. He then played for the Seahawks in 2023 and for the Browns in the past two seasons.
Bush is set to step in as a key starter at linebacker after the Bears released veteran Tremaine Edmunds last week. Earlier Monday, the Bears retained linebacker D'Marco Jackson on a two-year deal.
The Bears can officially sign Bush on Wednesday afternoon, when the new league year begins.
