(WBBM NEWSRADIO) Cubs great Ryne Sandberg updated the world Friday on his battle with prostate cancer.

Sandberg's second round of chemotherapy is complete and he's having “pain free days,” he said on social media. He added he has a little bit of nausea but “little stress.”

Sandberg is wearing light blue as much as he can for prostate cancer awareness, even posting a picture of his wife, Margaret, holding a bright blue ice cream cone.

Sandberg has metastatic prostate cancer and used his latest Instagram check-in to push awareness, testing and early detection.
