(670 The Score) Right-hander Erick Fedde has agreed to join the White Sox on a two-year, $15-million deal, Jeff Passan of ESPN reported Tuesday afternoon.

The 30-year-old Fedde is coming off a dominant campaign in the Korea Baseball Organization, where he was named the league MVP this past season after going 20-6 with a 2.00 ERA and 0.95 WHIP for the NC Dinos. Prior to playing in Korea, Fedde posted a 5.41 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in six MLB seasons, all with the Washington Nationals. He had a 5.81 ERA in 27 starts for Washington in 2022.

Fedde was a first-round pick of the Nationals in 2014 and debuted in the big leagues in 2017. He projects to fill a spot in a White Sox rotation that lacks depth and which could get weaker if the club trades right-hander Dylan Cease this offseason, a possibility that’s expected to become a reality later this winter.
