(670 The Score) The White Sox have activated reliever Ryan Tepera from the injured list, they announced Friday afternoon.
Tepera hasn’t pitched in a game since Sept. 10 due to a finger laceration. Tepera has a 2.88 ERA and 0.84 WHIP in 63 appearances split between the Cubs and White Sox this season. He has a 2.81 ERA in 20 appearances for the White Sox, who acquired him from the Cubs in late July before the trade deadline.

In a corresponding move, the White Sox designated 31-year-old reliever Mike Wright for assignment. He had a 5.50 ERA in 13 appearances for Chicago in 2021.
Beginning Friday, the White Sox host the Tigers in a three-game series to close the regular season. Chicago will face Houston in the American League Division Series, which will start next Thursday.
