(670 The Score) White Sox rookie center fielder Luis Robert on Tuesday was honored with a Gold Glove award.
Robert was named the winner in center field in the American League over the Athletics’ Ramon Laureano and the Twins’ Byron Buxton. Robert is the first rookie in White Sox history to win a Gold Glove award.
Catcher James McCann, catcher Yasmani Grandal, second baseman Danny Mendick and third baseman Yoan Moncada were Gold Glove finalists for the White Sox as well but didn’t win the honor.
