The Park District will host "Girls Day of P.L.A.Y." at 26 sites across the city this Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Most of the parks will have events for girls ages 6-to-12, while Vittum Park near Midway Airport will host girls ages 13-to-17.
The day of arts and athletics will include soccer and frisbee clinics, and line dancing.
